Philosophy Club for Fall 2013

This Fall we will begin meeting at my office hours, 12:30 to 1:30 pm at K's Coffee next to BCC, until we decide on another time and location.  All are welcome.  This Friday, the 13th of September, we will be discussing what we want to discuss and whether or not we are already discussing it.

BCC Philosophy Club Summer 2013

Hey good philosophical people,

We are going to start up the philosophy club again for the summer soon.  I want to know what times are best for people.  Should we try for noon, or 5pm?  I am thinking Mondays or Tuesdays, but I am open to suggestions.  Please email me with suggestions.

I know we have had a late start this semester, but the BCC Philosophy Club will begin meeting on Wednesdays from 12 to 1 pm in room 52 each week to discuss various topics we select together. Please email me with any questions.

Philosophy Club Meeting March 4th

Hey Philosophy Club people,

Tomorrow we will meet as we always do at noon. I will bring the Chomsky DVD as well as copies of the Iris Murdoch essay. The essay is also up as a PDF in the Philosophy Club gmail account, bccphilosophy@gmail.com. I am not going to post the password here, but will happily put it on the board tomorrow. The following Friday we will discuss the Murdoch piece.

No Class or Club on Friday Feb 18th or Monday Feb 21

Hey everybody (particularly students in Social & Political Philosophy, students in Ethics and Philosophy club members),

There will be no Ethics class or Philosophy Club on Friday Feb 18th and there will be no Social & Political Philosophy class on Monday Feb 21st for President's day weekend.

No Class or Club on Friday Nov 12

Hey Everyone,

There will be no Logic class or Philosophy Club on Friday, November 12th (tomorrow). Originally, the BCC schedule said we were taking Friday off, and then this was changed to Thursday. As such, I had no lecture planned for Friday.

BCC Philosophy Club

We will be starting up the BCC Philosophy Club again this semester. We will be meeting in room 54 at noon every Friday to hang out and discuss topics.

Please come by! You don't have to attend every meeting, and you are always welcome.
